Open the app and tap the develop icon or select a photo from your gallery. Once the photo loads in the Develop Lab, swipe through the film stock presets at the bottom. Tap any preset to apply it instantly. You can then fine-tune exposure, contrast, grain, and more using the ADJUST tab.
Royal Pro unlocks every film stock, preset, and adjustment control in GoldenHour. Choose ₹60 for 1 year of Pro or ₹99 for lifetime access (one-time payment, never expires). To purchase, go to Settings → Royal Pro in the app, pick your plan, and pay securely via Razorpay. Pro access is activated immediately after payment is confirmed.
First, make sure you are signed in to the same account you used when you purchased. Pull down to refresh your profile in the Settings screen — this forces a sync with our server. If Pro still doesn't appear after 5 minutes, please email us at tekkdevv@gmail.com with your registered email address and we will resolve it manually, usually within a few hours.
No. Royal Pro does not auto-renew. The 1-year pass is a fixed term — when it expires you lose Pro until you buy again. Lifetime Pro is a one-time payment with no expiry. You will never be charged without choosing to purchase again. If you have a yearly pass, you can extend before it ends and the new year stacks on your remaining time.
No, never. All photo processing in GoldenHour — film presets, colour grading, grain, vignette — happens entirely on your device. Your photos are not uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers at any point. Your gallery stays completely private.
GoldenHour processes photos on your device, so very large images (above 24MP) can be memory-intensive on older phones. Try the following: close other apps running in the background, restart GoldenHour, and try again. If a specific photo consistently crashes the app, please email it to us at tekkdevv@gmail.com along with your device model and Android version so we can investigate.
In the Develop Lab, tap the FRAME tab at the bottom of the screen. You can choose from Original, 3:4, 4:5, 1:1, or 16:9. Note: selecting a ratio other than Original zooms in to fill the selected frame — some edges of your photo will be cropped to fit the chosen aspect ratio.
Email us at tekkdevv@gmail.com with the subject line "Account deletion request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days and confirm once it's done. Note: payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and financial compliance.
Your film stock preferences and app settings are stored locally on your device. If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, they may not carry over automatically. Your Royal Pro subscription, however, is tied to your account and will restore as soon as you sign in on the new device. If you are having trouble, please reach out to tekkdevv@gmail.com.
