Terms of Service

Please read before using GoldenHour

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GoldenHour mobile application ("App") operated by GoldenHour ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use GoldenHour. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the App on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Your Account

You may use some features of GoldenHour without an account. To purchase Royal Pro or sync preferences across devices, you must sign in with an email address or a Google account.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at tekkdevv@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Licence to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use GoldenHour on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain full ownership of the photos you import into GoldenHour. We do not claim any rights over your photos. As stated in our Privacy Policy, photos are processed entirely on your device and never transmitted to our servers.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and edit any photo you import. Do not import photos that infringe a third party's copyright or privacy rights.

5. Royal Pro — Passes and Billing

Royal Pro is available in two options:

Prices are set in Indian Rupees and may be subject to applicable taxes as shown on your Razorpay receipt. Prices may change for future purchases; we will give reasonable notice of any change.

Not auto-renewing. Royal Pro does not renew automatically. The 1-year pass expires after 12 months unless you purchase again. Lifetime Pro does not expire. You may extend a yearly pass at any time before it expires — the new period will be added on top of your remaining time.

Payments. All payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or banking details. Pro access is activated after Razorpay confirms payment capture.

Refunds. Because Royal Pro unlocks digital content immediately upon activation, all purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to Pro features, contact us at tekkdevv@gmail.com and we will investigate and resolve it promptly.

Restoring Pro. If you reinstall the App or sign in on a new device, your Pro status is automatically restored provided you sign in to the same account and your pass has not expired.

6. Free Features and Pro Features

GoldenHour provides a set of features free of charge. Certain film stocks, presets, and advanced controls are reserved for Royal Pro subscribers. We reserve the right to adjust which features are free or Pro over time, with reasonable notice.

GoldenHour, its logo, film stock presets, the Develop Lab interface, and all associated content are the intellectual property of GoldenHour and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

GoldenHour is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Photo output. The film looks and colour grades produced by GoldenHour are creative tools. Results may vary depending on your source photo, device, and display. We do not guarantee any particular aesthetic outcome.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoldenHour and its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including loss of data or photos.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoldenHour and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

12. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be communicated via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the App.

We may discontinue features, change pricing for future purchases, or modify Pro benefits with reasonable notice.

13. Termination

You may stop using GoldenHour at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use the App ends; sections covering liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws, those laws may give you additional rights that these Terms do not override.
